  • Hi, my name is Hayley and I have been part of the nursery for 15 years and part of the management team for over 2 years. ​My qualifications are BTEC Level 3 in childcare, basic safeguarding awareness, prevent awareness, Designated safeguarding officer training, paediatric first aid, First aid at work, PANCO qualified, NVQ Level 4 diploma in management and most recently I have acheived my BA Hons Childhood Studies.

  • Scott is a professional chef who likes to make pastries and loves to try new recipes. With over 6 years of experience in cooking he makes delicious and healthy meals that the children in nursery love to eat. In his spare time Scott spends time with family and friends and enjoys city breaks and camping, where he always finds himself in charge of the bbq!

  • Hi I'm Carly, I have worked at the nursery for 15 years now and love my job. I have studying hard to gain my degree in early years which has given my the knowledge I needed to progress in my role and become the quality manager and designated safeguarding lead at Barton day nurseries. I have a young daughter of my own who keeps me active and busy outside of work, together we love spending time with our family especially my nieces and nephews and going on outings.

  • Vicky is a level three practitioner with many years of experience in early years and special educational needs settings. With three growing boys of her own at home she is a busy mum who loves to keep active. Vicky is always singing and talking to the children and can often be found dressing up or getting stuck into messy play with the children at nursery.

  • Megan is a level 3 practitioner with a passion for child-initiated play. She lives at home with partner James and their adored cat Cleo. Megan loves socialising and likes to read dance and shop in her spare time. Megan loves messy play and is always singing and dancing with the children.

  • Lilly is currently working to complete her level 3 early years apprenticeship training and has recently completed some training specific to caring for babies. Lilly likes to spend time at home with her family or socialising with friends when she is not at nursery. At nursery Lilly really enjoys encouraging children to explore sensory play activities and gives other staff ideas of ways to enhance sensory exploration.

  • Molly is a level 2 practitioner who is currently working towards her level 3 qualification. With a degree in arts Molly is the most creative of our staff and is often found creating masterpieces with the children in paint, glue, crayon, chalk and anything else that makes a mark! Molly loves to travel with her partner Warren.

  • Danielle is a level 3 practitioner with a love for creating displays with children’s artwork. She has a passion for outdoor play and loves to spend time in our onsite forest school. Danielle really enjoys socialising outside of nursery and spends a lot of time with her family.

  • Ellie is a level 3 practitioner with over 5 years’ experience in early years, as well as experience of being a nanny in France for many years. She has a desire to become a paediatric nurse one day and looks forward to supporting children’s health in the future. Ellie is a keen reader who spends lots of her spare time exploring books. She has a love for 60’s and 70’s juke box music and will often be dancing around to this with the children at nursery.
